J-Pilot on UbuntuThere are updates to this articleI have a Palm T|X and wanted to sync with Ubuntu. J-Pilot seemed to do what I want. Quick apt-get. However, it didn't want to sync. I was playing around, pushing Hotsync buttons and changing ports from /dev/pilot to /dev/ttyUSB1 and the likes. What worked in the end was to set it to /dev/ttyUSB1, push the Hotsync buttons on the cradles and *then* the Hotsync button in J-pilot. BTW, keyring editor in J-Pilot is *very* handy. Fri 28th Sep '07You also need the visor kernel module: sudo modprobe visor To have it loaded everytime you boot, add visor to /etc/modules | |||||||||||
